New Challenge ~ Monochromatic ART ~
Monochromatic : ~ having one color or hue; monochromatic works of art are limited to a palette of light and dark shades of one single color
This weeks challenge is to create a work of art using only one color! So find your favorite color and shades of it and get started.

Cool theme...really got me inspired with this challenge! I just love colors and I had NEVER done something with just ONE color...loved it!

As soon as I saw that this week's topic was monochromatic, I thought of doing something in green. Then, when I saw what the IF topic was (monster), the idea I came up with seemed perfect for a green palette. As I was coloring it, however, a bit of greenish orange seemed to sneak its way in, so I thought...hmmm..should I submit it here, or do another piece? Well, the truth of the matter is that I realized as the weekend wore on that I just won't have time to do another piece, so here's what I have - an almost completely monochromatic monstress, done with the best intentions of following the rules:

my first attempt at the Inspire Me Thursday challenge...I have really enjoyed checking out everybody's work over the last few months and thought I'd give it a try :)
I did it! Woo Hoo. This was awesome. Lots of fun, and made me really have to think about shading and colour.

I uploaded my images to flickr, but they only show if i'm logged in.
In fact, of the 90 group images that show when I'm logged in, fewer than 50 show when I'm not.
What can I do to make my images visible to everyone? I selected the radial button for public, but that doesn't seem to be working...
